WHAT IS ELECTRONICS ?
ELECTRONICS essentially deals with electronic devices and their utilization. Electronics is a branch of science and technology which deals with study of electron motion in various vacuum tubes, semiconductor devices.
WHY ELECTRONICS ?
Electronics has gained much importance due to its numerous applications in industry. The micro electronics( IC technology) has made a great impact on communication control, computer industries, quality control and automation. The introduction of new syllabus in Electronics at B.Sc. level matches with B.Tech standard.
WHAT ABOUT MODERN ELECTRONICS ?
- DIGITAL ELECTRONICS is the foundation of digital computers and most of the automated control system.
- MICROPROCESSOR is a program control device which decodes and executes instructions and is used as CPU in computers.
- MICRO CONTROLLER is a single chip computer, more suited for control and automation of machines and processes.
WHAT WILL YOU STUDY ?
Syllabus : Network analysis and electronic devices like diodes, transistors, photo electric devices along with practical knowledge- analog circuits like amplifiers, rectifiers and power supplies and communication systems. They also study Operational amplifiers which is the building block in analog computers- simulation experiments using appropriate electronic circuit simulation software- Digital electronics, Microprocessors, Embedded Systems and Applications along with the practical knowledge. Micro controller (8051) programmes using Keil Software-The students are encouraged to do small project work.
WHAT NEXT ?
After successfully completing B.Sc. Electronics, the student is eligible to do M.Sc. ( Electronics ), M.Sc. Tech (Embedded systems), M.Sc.Tech (VLSI ) etc.
The students find placements in various industries like WIPRO, IBM, INTEL, BALCO, MIC Electronics, PHILIPS and also have opportunities in Telecommunications, Communication media, Air force, Embedded system programming, VLSI designing and in research side like DRDO, ISRO BHEL etc.

In the 1st year

- Working of MS OFFICE
In this year Students will learn total Office Oriented Work using MS-OFFICE and how to write programs in C-LANGUAGE, these two coursers enable them to take up small tasks. C-Programming learnt in this year will be helpful (is used) for writing programs in Java next year.
In the 2nd year
- Java Programing
- Data Structure Concepts
In this year Students will learn Programs from C-language JAVA Programming along with Data structures Concepts. This Programming is useful in developing small projects.
In the Final year
- Database Management System
- Web Technology & Internet
In this year Students will learn DATABASE Concepts and implementation of databases using SQL in CS3 paper. They will learn Creating WebPages, Internet Topics and Methods in Computer Science paper4. These subjects enable the student to develop websites in the Internet Environment.
