Mathematics Statistics Computer Science (MSCs)
Mathematics is among the most fascinating of all intellectual disciplines, the purest of all art forms, and the most challenging of games. The study of mathematics is not only exciting, but important. Mathematicians have an opportunity to make a lasting contribution to society by helping to solve problems in such diverse fields as Medicine, Management, Economics. Government, Computer science, Physics, Psychology, Engineering, and Stock markets
IDEAL VISION of MATHEMATICS
Students of Mathematics are encouraged to participate in various competitive exams and extra effort is put in by the faculty so that students get internships.
A number of students have been selected for HCU, IISC, ISI, TIFR, INDIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES.
To inculcate interest in Mathematics and related pure science courses, Ideal organizes various Lectures & Seminars at State and National level by inviting eminent personalities across the country.

Statistics is a mathematical science pertaining to the collection, analysis, interpretation or explanation, and presentation of data.. It is applicable to a wide variety of academic disciplines, from the natural and social sciences to humanities, government and business.
WHY STATISTICS ?
Statistics forms a key basis tool in business and manufacturing as well. It is used to understand measurement systems variability, control processes (as in statistical process control or SPC), for summarizing data, and to make data-driven decisions. In these roles, it is a key tool, and perhaps the only reliable tool. Some fields of inquiry use applied statistics so extensively that they have specialized terminology.
What will you study?
Syllabus : Descriptive Statistics & Probability Distributions.-Statistical Methods and Inference – Applied Statistics – Quality, Reliability and Operations Research – Bio-statistics – Actuarial Statistics In addition to the above contents, the Computer Oriented Statistical Concepts are introduced year after year with MS – EXCEL & TORA.
Students who complete graduation with Statistics can take up the courses in Statistics Operations Research, Actuarial Science at post graduate level with specialization in Mathematical Statistics & Probability – Applied Statistics & Data Analysis – Operations Research – Bio-statistics & Demography, Statistical Quality Control (SQC) – Actuarial Science etc.,
Statistics offers a wide range of employment opportunities in National Sample Survey, Central Statistical

Computer science is the combination of principles, theories and applications of the technologies that underlie the access to information. This science involves studying the structure, mechanization and expression of algorithms, coding, testing and implementation, which are methodical processes for solving problems. Computer science has many branches and sub divisions, each specializing in varied areas such as computational theories, programming, coding, graphics, and complex computation theories, computer networks, Internet and lot more.
Why Computer Science?
Computer Science deals with the use of computers by human beings for speedy work of increased quality and productivity. However, a rather unique aspect of computer science is that it’s not only a very broad discipline, but that it has exceptionally broad application to nearly every other discipline imaginable like Manufacturing, Banking, Communications, Security, Energy, Medicine, Art, Transportation, Sports, Government, Medicine and Hospitals, Entertainment – Photography and Animation, Weather forecasting etc.,
