“We are ever ready to upgrade and adapt ourselves
with the changing times.”
K. SHASHIDHAR REDDY,
IDEAL – true to its name, stands tall as one of the most successful institutions in Hyderabad, imparting value added approach to education right from its inception. It has been the place where talent is meticulously honed and nurtured to facilitate success in the fields of education and employment.
Ideal Degree College for Women was established by a group of academicians to promote an identity for the students, a small effort on our part in empowering the women of our society. The college is gaining in strength in leaps and bounds with every successive year.
IDEAL has fully equipped laboratories, air conditioned computer, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Genetics labs and a very spacious library. The congenial environment of the institution enables our students to sharpen their academic skills and develop positive attitude towards life.
Ideal, by and large caters to the educational and career prospects of students, thereby transforming them into successful individuals. Our fully functional Campus Placement Cell has enabled many of our students carve a niche of their own society.
We do not hesitate in boasting of our students’ stupendous success in the on-campus selections over the years. From a superb 23 in 2006, a glorious 78 in 2007, a mind blowing 109 in 2008, 192 in 2009, and more than 200 in 2010, 250 in 2011, 254 in 2012 and with the growing recession thereafter in the industry, we were still able to place hundreds of students every years. This by itself speaks about our success story.
We are ever ready to upgrade and adapt ourselves with the changing times.Seminars and workshops on various topics relating to subjects of study and psychology of the students are a part of our curriculum. Cultural programmes and literary events in different categories were conducted in the months of December and January to bring out the best in our students. Indoor games like Chess and Carrom were held to inculcate the sporting spirit.
I take this opportunity to congratulate all the achievers on their laudable performance at various competitions. I also congratulate the students on using the opportunity to showcase their creative talents by contributing to our souvenir – Vision-14. I would like to express my thanks to the editorial team of the magazine for their efforts in bringing out a successful edition.
Finally, the humanitarian aspect, we are proud to speak about the Blood Donation Camp conducted in our college by social bodies like Lions Club and Vaatsalya Voluntary organisation, where a large number of students participated actively. Our students volunteered to help the aged people and spend time with the children of orphanages, which is highly commendable, proving once again that no obstacle is insurmountable in the face of collective human action.
Every success needs to end on a vote of thanks. We humbly owe what we are today to the untiring support and efficiency of our teaching and non-teaching staff and the cooperation of the parents of our students.
