The following activities are implemented with regard to Academic Guidance

Add-on Courses

IDCW has introduced to Add-on courses to develop the skills in areas of Accounts & Finance for B. Com students. These Add-on courses help the students to explore and learn courses beyond the discipline of curriculum which also helps them in careers.

Subject-oriented skills & Interpersonal skills

Expert faculties of the departments conduct seminars workshops and projects which expand the intellectual acumen of the students. Students also learn the subject in-depth thus their subject skills are enhanced. When the students participate in these activities their interpersonal skills are also sharpened and they develop a professional attitude.

Experiential Learning

Experiential learning is encouraged and implemented at IDCW. As a part of experiential learning industrial visits, field visits are done regularly. Students gain subject knowledge practically with hands-on experience due to these visits which are conducted regularly from time to time.

Higher Education

At IDCW, students who are interested to pursue higher education are given guidance regarding the PG courses and its prospects. Right at IDCW, P.G. Courses in M.Sc. (Computer Science) & M.Sc. (Microbiology) are offered. Students interested to pursue M.Sc. (Computer Science) M.Sc. (Microbiology) can join IDCW which is an added benefit for the student.

Slow learners and Remedial efforts

Slow learners are identified through mock tests, internal exams & end-semester exams and remedial tips are given by the lecturers concerned to improve their performance. This issue of slow learners is taken up the management and remedial methods to be implemented are being seriously considered to improve their performance.
