I. Student Code of Conduct

  • Adherence to Institution Rules: Students must comply with institution rules and regulations as they evolve.
  • Campus Cleanliness: Students are responsible for keeping the campus clean, refraining from defacing walls or littering in classrooms.
  • Parking:Vehicles must be parked only in designated parking areas.
  • ID Cards:Students must wear their ID cards on campus and produce them upon request.
  • Anti-Ragging:The campus has a zero-tolerance policy for ragging. A Vigilance Squad monitors interaction between senior and junior students, which should be warm and friendly.
  • Attendance:A minimum attendance of 75% is required to appear for end-of-term examinations.
  • Punctuality:Students should be in classrooms and laboratories at least 5 minutes before sessions begin.
  • Library Use:Students must use library facilities responsibly, renew borrowed books on time, and allow others to access reserved books.
  • Dress Code:Students are expected to dress modestly in accordance with our traditions and culture, prohibiting torn or distressed clothing.
  • Library Rules:Writing in library books, marking them, folding pages, or causing any damage is strictly prohibited.
  • Library Silence:Silence must be maintained in the library.
  • Respect:Arguments with faculty, staff, and peers are not allowed.
  • Discipline:Irregular attendance, indifference to classwork and exams, discourtesy, insubordination, or obscenity may lead to disciplinary action, including expulsion.
  • Mandatory Events:Attending college functions, meetings, seminars, group discussions, industrial visits, and viva voce sessions is compulsory.
  • Organized Activities:Students must seek permission from the Principal before organizing or participating in any activities related to the college.
  • Prohibited Substances:Smoking, tobacco products, alcohol, and drugs are strictly forbidden on campus.
  • Eve-Teasing and Ragging: Eve-teasing and ragging are strictly prohibited, and offenders will be dealt with according to the law.
  • Gender-Specific Areas: Access to gender-specific areas, such as common rooms, is restricted based on gender.
  • Expulsion: The Principal has the authority to expel any student from the college for serious misconduct or behaviour detrimental to order and discipline.
  • Classroom Etiquette: Movement within or leaving the classroom during class hours requires the lecturer's permission.
  • Coercion: Seniors forcing juniors to complete assignments, lab records, or similar tasks is strictly prohibited and may lead to punishment.

II. Dress Code:

  • It is recommended that girls wear uniform from Monday to Friday and informal on Saturday.
  • Short tops without a dupatta, pencil jeans, and T-shirts are not in compliance with the informal dress code.
  • Tight-fitting bottoms, leggings, and garments that create an odd appearance should be avoided..
  • Footwear should consist of normal sandals or leather/nylon shoes. High-heeled fashionable shoes and sandals are not in accordance with the dress code.
